The Chevy "Square Body" pickups debuted in 1973. These pickups were revolutionary, as they looked like nothing else on the road at that time. Two types of boxes were available for these Chevy pickups: the Fleetside and the Stepside. At first, the stepside had only wood floors available. They were also available in a long Wheelbase (131.5 inches) and a short Wheelbase (117.5 inches).
